We were so pleased with Katherine’s service, professionalism and compassion that we recommended her to a friend of ours who is moving to the Northern Virginia area. Even when we ran into a few bumps in the road, she never wavered and gave us daily updates on new and existing properties so that we could make the best decision for our family. We were moving from out of state and had zero knowledge of the area, but soon found Katherine to be a very valuable resource in regards to schools, amenities, etc. The biggest reason we recommended Katherine is that she cared so much about finding a home for our family. It is without reservation that I recommend Katherine Forno as a real-estate agent. My wife and I first met Katherine while viewing open houses in our neighborhood. We were toying with the idea of moving and wanted see what the market looked like. Katherine was representing a property near our house and we were so taken with her professionalism that we immediately decided to hire her as our agent.
Although we had purchased a home in the past, this was our first real-estate sale. Katherine was extremely patient and thorough in walking us through the sales process. Shortly after we began working with Katherine, the sub-prime real-estate crisis began. The market became extremely complex and sales slowed to a trickle. While the market was stagnant, Katherine made certain that we kept our property competitive and ensured that a steady stream of potential buyers toured our home.
In the end, Katherine was able to sell our house and find the perfect home for our family. We love our new home and could not be more pleased with Katherine's service.
